As someone who loves nature, I am deeply committed to addressing the pressing issue of climate change in Oregon’s 3rd District and beyond. Climate action is a complex issue requiring a multifaceted approach with solutions that don’t just speak to climate change, but ones that put the importance of inclusivity and social justice front and center.

Our beautiful city of Portland is known for its natural beauty, vibrant communities, and forward-thinking values. However, we cannot ignore the stark reality that our planet is facing a climate crisis that threatens our environment, economy, and the well-being of our residents.

My law firm, focused on small businesses, non-profits, and artists, has shown me the power of grassroots efforts and community engagement. It has also shown me that in order for big changes to occur, we must also bring big business to the table. I believe that by working together, we can create innovative solutions to combat climate change while ensuring that no one is left behind.

My Vision for Climate Action

Transitioning to Clean Energy

We must aggressively invest in renewable energy sources like wind and solar power, creating green jobs right here in Oregon. This transition not only reduces our carbon footprint but also strengthens our economy.

Climate Justice

Climate change has and will disproportionately affect BIPOC communities. We must ensure that our climate policies prioritize environmental justice and provide support for those most vulnerable to its impacts.

Sustainable Transportation

Investing in public transportation, cycling infrastructure, and electric vehicle incentives will reduce emissions and make our city more accessible and sustainable.

Climate Education and Workforce Development

Access to education is one of our campaign's top priorities, and this includes educating our youth about climate change and its consequences. We must prepare the next generation to be leaders in sustainability. This includes doubling down on workforce development and encouraging our youth that college, tech/trade programs, and community service programs are all to be supported AND celebrated.

Green Jobs

Let's create a thriving green economy in Oregon by supporting businesses that prioritize sustainability and innovation.

Together, we can lead the way in addressing climate change and building a more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable future for all of District 3. I am committed to taking bold action, listening to our community, and fighting tirelessly to protect our environment. With your support, we can make Portland a beacon of progress in the fight against climate change.

I am committed to comprehensive immigration reform that reflects our progressive values and principles. Our nation was not just built by immigrants, and it's imperative that we create a fair, just, and compassionate immigration system.

Our campaign, driven by progressive values, is committed to advocating for equal rights and protections for Women, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), and LGBTQ+ individuals.
