District 3 remains the home and workplace of Native peoples and historically includes the lands of the Multnomah, Wasco, Cowlitz, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Tualatin, Kalapuya, Molalla, and Chinook, among others. My campaign and tenure in Congress will commit to honoring the authentic histories, stories, and experiences of these tribes, recognizing the lasting effects of historical injustices they've faced. Acknowledging our role as settlers on these lands, it's essential to honor and support the resilience of Indigenous communities and uphold the promises made to them. While recognitions alone cannot redress past harms, they mark the beginning of our collective journey towards betterment. To this end, my team has integrated
