I believe that real change necessitates listening to those who are actually on the ground doing the work and experiencing the issues we are focused on improving.
- MJ

I will seek endorsements from electeds per usual, but also seek endorsements from everyday leaders in our community. It is their endorsements that will affirm to you, the voter, that I have the ability to bring people together of all walks of life in an intentional, innovative, and long lasting way.

- MJ

Living in Portland, I’ve been fortunate to have representation in Congress that aligns well with my progressive values. Now that we’re picking a new Representative, we need someone who has the energy, skills, savvy, and courage to stand for these values at the national level. We need someone who will help ensure that our democracy is preserved for everyone. Michael Jonas is the person we need to get things done in D.C. He has solid business sense, is a creative force, and gets results for a wide range of people and projects. I’ve seen his involvement, advocacy, and energy to drive change in our community firsthand so I know Michael is the right person for the 3rd Congressional District.

Michael Jonas isn't just a candidate; he's a reflection of our community. His personal experiences as a homeowner, business owner, and caregiver uniquely position him to advocate for our needs in Congress. He's not just aware of our challenges; he's committed to overcoming them with us.

Deanna smith (She/Her), CFO & Program Director, Sneaker Week PDX

Over the years Michael and his team have been great to work for local business owners. His knowledge working with founders first hand will serve him well as conversations about Oregon businesses are brought to the table. I was so happy with their work and excellent customer service I have since referred them to most if not all of the business owners I work with. I'm very happy to have found Michael and appreciate the work he is doing to support an inclusive business economy!

"I am supporting Michael for Congress because he listens to-and actually gets to know-the people he wants to represent, particularly those who have been pushed out of the inner circles of access. In a time when Oregon, and the country as a whole, is straining under years of doing the same things over and over, Michael's community-centered approach combined with his organizing skills and legal acumen, makes him the leader that we need for the future we want to have."

Debra Porta (She/They), Executive Director, Pride Northwest

He donates his time, knowledge, and expertise to further the success of local entrepreneurs in our community. He knows business and how to think out of the box. He applies inventive practices in his legal firm geared toward the real needs of business owners. He is a cheerleader, educator, and doer. We are lucky to have him in our ecosystem.

Nikki Guerrero (She/Her), Owner, Hot Mama Salsa

It is vital that we vote our values. That's why I'm endorsing and will be voting for Michael Jonas for Congress-OR 3 . Michael is a passionate advocate for the environment, LGBTQ+ rights, and corporate accountability. His law firm has been certified as a benefit company for 5 plus years. He not only encourages clients to become social enterprises and to follow benefit company standards, he’s on the Benefit Corporation for Good’s Advisory Board.  His values align with the district and his work ethic and heart run parallel with outgoing Congressman Earl Blumenaur’s. I’ve witnessed first-hand his ability to be creative and collaborative in order to reach win-win solutions with other leaders. It's the kind of leadership that is desperately needed in our country right now. His intelligence, competency, realization that we need all hands on deck to solve problems, and his devotion lead me to believe without a doubt that upon being elected, he’ll hit the ground running in Washington D.C. and vigorously represent Oregon's interests for people and planet. I urge you to vote for Michael Jonas.

Tom Hering (He/Him), Co-Founder, Benefit Corporations for Good
